Linea is a summer yarn composed of 3 strands of linen and 1 strand of cotton. Linen is an ecological material, cultivated for Ullcentrum in Lithuania without pesticides - the transformation of the plant into yarn takes place without any chemicals and using only completely natural processes.
For most of the colours, each strand has its own unique shade of colour, giving the yarn a wonderful depth and vitality. Perfect for your summer knits, linen is a thermoregulatory textile, absorbant and hypoallergenic, which gives a sensation of coolness and softens the more it is worn. Strong and hard-wearing, excellent drape.
This yarn knits as a 4ply/Fingering but can also be knitted equally well with a larger needle to give a lighter and more airy effect. It can be machine washed, then dried flat and lightly steam-ironed if necessary.
