Wolke Pull d'Orlane Sucche

Wolke is a loose and airy sweater, a beautiful basic which allows the wearer to play with layering and to show the beautiful drape of the garment. The style is minimalist with some beautiful details: wide collar, decorative double decreases along neckline and wide, elbow-length sleeves.

Wolke is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round, in one piece to the underarms. It has a straight and loose shape. The front and back are worked separately flat. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes. The sleeves are worked flat with increases to the underarm then knitted in the round. Finally stitches for the collar are picked up and worked in the round.

The sweater is knitted in Wensleydale Longwool DK, from the British rare breed sheep of the same name. A luxurious and soft yarn, it has an almost silk-like sheen and a soft halo.
